ECOLOGIST
Full Professor and Head of the Ecology Unit at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad. Research focuses on aquatic ecology, plant ecology, climatology, and environmental modelling. Visiting Professor at the University of Sarajevo since 2020 and at the University of East Sarajevo since 2023. Honorary Professor at the University of Donja Gorica.

Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership project, with €0.9M budget, focused on developing innovative educational approaches for aquatic sciences. As project coordinator, leading international collaboration to address bias in environmental education and research methodologies.
STECCI - Stone Monument Ensembles and Climate Change Impact
Horizon Europe project investigating the impact of climate change on cultural heritage. Research focused on environmental factors affecting medieval stone monuments across southeastern Europe. €3.2M project involving 9 institutions across 8 countries.
Restore4Life - Restoration of Wetland Complexes in the Danube Basin
Major Horizon Europe project (€8.3M) aimed at restoring wetland ecosystems in the Danube Basin. University of Sarajevo participates with €196,080 budget, contributing expertise in freshwater ecology and monitoring protocols, and EU-wide stakeholder engagement.
